Motorola will hold an event on April 3 in New Delhi, India. “Save the date! to witness the fusion of art and intelligence” is the claim chosen by the Lenovo brand for this presentation which, probably, will see the launch of the new Motorola Edge 50 Pro.
Motorola recently launched both the Moto G (2024) and Moto G Power 5G (2024). The Edge series, as a result, could be the most suspected. Another detail that could confirm the launch of the Motorola Edge 50 Pro is the date reported on the press renders of the smartphone that have circulated in recent weeks: they all indicate April 3.
It should be noted, however, that the day shown on the renders does not coincide with the date. April 3, in fact, will fall on a Wednesday, not a Tuesday as we read in the Motorola Edge 50 Pro’s clock widget. Of course, as we get closer to the date, there should be no shortage of more accurate information.
According to the rumors circulating so far, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro will feature a raised rear island in which there are three cameras: a 60MP main camera with f/1.4 aperture, a 13mm ultra-wide-angle eq. and a 73mm telephoto eq. The display, on the other hand, is expected to have a 6.7-inch diagonal with a 165Hz refresh rate and a slight curvature on the edges.
Other hardware features include a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor from Qualcomm, up to 12GB of RAM and a 4,500mAh battery with support for 125W wired and 50W wireless charging.
