WhatsAPP has made a great update on its application version from 23.24.72 to 23.24.73 which is impressive. The recent upgrade is introducing many new features including support for sending multimedia in native form. This revolutionary function allows users to freely exchange pictures and videos without compromising on quality.
Moreover, this highly anticipated feature enables users willing to forward a real copy of their captured images taken by a professional camera or videography apparatus which should be transmitted in its original form.
Operating this feature is straightforward: Users will have to open the chat sharing panel, select, “Document”, tap choose photos or video for sending uncompressed multimedia files. However, there does appear to be a limitation insofar as 2GB per individual file is said to be all that can be catered for by the software.
All ios users are now able to enjoy the latest features of this amazing application! Users are also informed where the application is unavailable to download to check it manually in the app store until it becomes available. However, one may have to exercise patience if it is not immediately available.
Besides send-original media, update from WhatsApp version 23.24.73 has other minor changes, fixes and improvements. Here’s the official changelog:
Version 23.24.73 Highlights:
Send your media content as is with ease. Begin by clicking on “+” in the chat, and further select Document > “Choose any images or videos.”
Initiate a voice chat in large groups without ringing a call.
New chat bubbles enable users to keep track of miscellaneous, live, and concluded calls.
Use an avatar to react promptly to a situation. Click “Reply” and choose one of your six possible avatar reactions.
It is also worth noting that WhatsApp has tested self-destructing content on its web version so one can only watch a content once. This was highlighted under an article published recently, whose functionality is currently only being tested by limited participants, unlike this update herein. Look out for more updates on shareable pictures and movies on WhatsApp!
